OSHA Publishes Final Rule on Cranes & Derricks in Construction
OSHA announced that it is issuing a new rule addressing the use of cranes and derricks in construction, which will replace a decades-old standard. Approximately 267,000 construction, crane rental and crane certification establishments employing about 4.8 million workers will be affected by the rule.  For more informtaion click here.

OSHA Implements Severe Violator Enforcement Program
OSHA’s Severe Violators Enforcement Program (SVEP) directive became effective June 18th.  The program focuses enforcement efforts on those employers that continually disregard their legal obligations to protect workers, willfully and repeatedly endanger employees by exposing them to serious hazards.  For more information read the SVEP directive here.

Summer Heat is a Real Safety Concern
