Safety Resources Company of Ohio is a full service independent safety and regulatory consulting company that services construction, industry, and commercial companies of all sizes. Safety Resources is now a provider of PEC's SafetyLand Basic Orientation.  Please contact us for more information or to schedule a class.


REMINDER!
OSHA Summary must be posted by February 1st.
At the end of each calendar year, you must:
 Review the OSHA 300 Log to verify that the entries are complete and accurate, and correct any deficiencies identified;
 Create an annual summary of injuries and illnesses recorded on the OSHA 300 Log (OSHA Form 300A);
 Have a company executive review sign the summary;
 Post the summary in a conspicuous place where notices to employees are usually posted;
 Summary must be posted no later than February 1st and kept in place until April 30th.

WINTER STORMS

Winter storms create a variety of hazards and can have lingering impacts on everyday tasks and work activities. According to the National Weather Service, about 70 percent of injuries during winter storms result from vehicle accidents, and about 25 percent of injuries result from being caught out in the storm.
